Learn to carve your own relief block onto mounted lino and use it to print a repeat pattern onto fabric. Explore different ways to create a repeating square block. You can use the same block to create multiple styles of repeat. Print onto ready-made interior textiles such as a cushion cover, pillow case or fabric for a lampshade kit etc. Bring your own, upcycle an old piece, or buy a new tea towel or tote bag from the Handprinted shop to print onto.
Inks, blocks and tools provided, just bring fabric to print onto (or purchase in the shop on the day).
Do you need more time to finish your print? The studio is usually available after the workshop has finished for open access studio time – pay £5 per hour to stay and work independently. Just pay on the day for studio time and any extra materials used. To book, email shop@handprinted.co.uk, or just let us know during the class if you'd like to stay on.
All of our workshops take place in our studio at 22 Arun Business Park, Shripney Road, Bognor Regis, PO22 9SX.
